The Kickstarter is ALIVE!
This is just a quick news update to let you know that the Book Four funding campaign is now live on Kickstarter.
Happy New Year!
I just wanted to wish DQers across the globe a very Happy New Year. There is lots of goodness in store for fans in 2018 – namely a new book coming out around August time, this time published by Megara Entertainment. There will also be a Kickstarter for the new book running from 10 January to 10 February. Be sure to check it out and pledge if you are able to – as there will be exclusive epic loot cards available!
Kickstarter – 10 January
In case you were wondering what had happened to the Book Four Kickstarter campaign, originally penciled in for the end of October/Early November, then the sad news is that it has been delayed until next year. There have been a few problems with sorting out art assets, so both myself and Megara felt it would be better to delay the Kickstarter to improve the experience and ensure that Book Four is the very best that it can be. Frustrating I know - but it will be worth the wait!
Pirates and skulduggery on the high (sand) seas!
The back cover 'blurb' (as industry professionals like to call it) for Book Four has now been released, providing a cheeky insight into what you can expect in the upcoming DestinyQuest novel. As the title of the book makes clear, we are a far cry away from the freezing cold north and steamy jungles of previous books. Instead, DQ4 will be taking us to the frontier towns of the badlands, and the Dune Sea itself, where pirates and treasure hunters ply the sand lanes in search of fame and fortune.
DestinyQuest IV – we have lift off!
It’s been a long time in coming, but at last I can finally publish the news story I have been itching to write for quite some time now. This week contracts were drawn up and finalised, and I can now safely assure everyone that DestinyQuest Book Four is going ahead.
