The Raiders of Dune Sea has funded!
We did it! Thanks to the amazing support of fans (both old and new!), Book Four of the DestinyQuest series is now funded! That means adventurers across the land will soon be able to embark on an epic gamebook journey into the Badlands and Dune Sea, battling monsters, hunting for rare treasures and becoming true heroes of legend.
I am immensely proud of the upcoming book. I think it is the best gamebook I could have written (as of this moment, I have around 10 pages left to write!). And I feel honoured to be able to share it with you all come August of this year.
On top of that, it has been wonderful to see so many Kickstarter stretch goals get unlocked, so that fans can now accompany their adventures with some exciting additions, such as ability cards, a colour hero sheet, atmospheric backing tracks and loot cards.
This, of course, is not the end. There will be plenty of future updates to keep you up-to-speed with the progress of the book as well as sneak peeks into some of the careers and hero builds, and other cool features.
And finally, a big thank you to Mikael and the Megara team who have been so flexible and understanding throughout this Kickstarter, taking on board feedback from both myself and fans, and ensuring that the fourth book becomes the very best that it can be.
So raise a tankard of ale and let’s toast to the successful future of DestinyQuest – and many more books to come!
