My question is the text clearly states you can leave back pack items to which I have left a healing potion for the dwarves rune stone. I also want to take the ring. Can I therefore leave a ring in its place? I am aware that the text would indicate back pack specific keywords items but not being able to leave a ring in place of a ring doesn't make sense to me. That is the conscious decision I have made for now as hopefully she neons replies back before I get to the pet where it matters.
