There is a book you can buy from Tanner who is at the camp in act 2 (para 421). She can also turn all your ingredients into potions. You need to chat to the mad scientist for a while to get the option.

The healing potions are useful.

Back on topic:- Whats the point of the field guide?

I managed to collected various grasses, herbs and flowers but never found anything to do with them. Anyone know?

Feel free to use the quote as customer feedback on the back of book 2. That does mean it has to be a real book too because ebooks don't have a back!

I've asked my Amazon character to place this quote on Amazon in Germany (where I bought my copy) and while he's at it in the UK and the US as well. Hopefully that will cure your cold

You can get the herb book from the first camp where the alchemist is. There is that and the dwarf one that you use for the puzzles.

So what's this Lorinweld's Field Guide to Roots, herbs and Leaves that I'm constantly hearing about in Act 2? Did I skip something somewhere?

BTW I love this book, it's so addictive it should be on the list of controlled substances
